A passion for craftsmanship
How a side project became a calling.
What started as a way to make some extra money quickly turned into a real passion for craftsmanship and transformation.
After getting into landscaping, I came across my first interlock repair project and immediately saw something different about it. There was something incredibly rewarding about taking an old, uneven, moss-filled walkway and bringing it back to life. Seeing the before and after — and the reaction from the homeowner afterward — made me realize how much of a difference quality restoration work can make.
That experience led to the creation of StoneCrest Interlock.
I saw a real need for honest, high-quality interlock repair in Ottawa. Too many homeowners were being told they needed complete replacements when their existing interlock could often be restored beautifully for a fraction of the cost. In many cases, seeing an old walkway transformed back to looking brand new is just as satisfying — if not more — than installing a completely new one.
At StoneCrest, attention to detail is at the core of everything we do. Precision, focus, and going the extra mile are what define our work. From careful leveling and preparation to the final sweep of polymeric sand, the difference between an average result and an exceptional one comes down to the details.
We also understand that inviting someone to work at your home requires trust. That's why we place a strong emphasis on integrity, communication, and reliability — making the process simple and stress-free, with care for the property every step of the way.
What we enjoy most is the feeling a finished project creates. The relief of checking it off the list. The peace of mind of a safer walkway. The joy of pulling into a refreshed driveway. And the neighbours who stop to compliment the transformation before we've even packed up.
For us, interlock restoration is about more than pavers. It's about restoring beauty to a home, improving safety, and helping homeowners fall back in love with their outdoor space again.
